About NaijaDecide

NaijaDecide is a free tool that helps you compare your views with the documented positions of the presidential candidates for the election on 16 January 2027.

Independent

NaijaDecide is independent and self-funded. It has no affiliation with any party or candidate, and it does not accept money from any party, candidate or campaign.

Not a poll, not an endorsement

We never tell anyone how to vote. We never publish how many people matched a candidate. The public statistics only show which issues people care about.

How the research is done

The research is AI-assisted. AI tools help find and suggest candidate positions in public sources. A person reads every source passage before a position is published. The full method is on the methodology page, and every position links to its source and an archived copy.

Why we stay anonymous

The people who build NaijaDecide do not put their names on it. In a tense election, that keeps attention on the method and the sources, which anyone can check, rather than on who made it.
